StreamScapes Receives Heritage Council Funding

Apr 3, 2025

StreamScapes is proud to announce it has been awarded funding through the Heritage Organisation Support Fund 2025, administered by The Heritage Council. This crucial funding marks another major milestone in our journey since becoming an independent organisation. It will enable us to take significant steps forward in our mission to connect people with Ireland’s natural and cultural heritage through education, engagement, and advocacy.

Thanks to this support, we’re now in a position to:

  • Hire a part-time Communications Officer – a key role that will help us reach new audiences and strengthen our voice across Ireland. (Interested in joining the team? See the job post here: streamscapes.ie/streamscapes-is-hiring)
  • Develop a robust Communications Plan – essential to guiding our outreach and ensuring our message resonates far and wide.
  • Expand our digital resource library – including e-learning modules, videos, and social media content to support community engagement and education.
  • Strengthen our sustainability – by investing in people, planning, and tools that support our long-term impact.

This funding not only affirms the value of our work, but also ensures we can continue building a resilient, forward-thinking organisation that educates and inspires. We’re incredibly grateful to The Heritage Council for this opportunity—and to all of our supporters for being part of our journey.
